I was approached to come along to a shoot for the clothing label Pearly King. I aided in the production so that when I came to editing it, I knew the shots and this would help em out. I was really happy with the quick exciting style. Working with such interesting shots was a real bonus.
Baia contacted me and asked me to create an e-commerce website for their luxury, handmade leather products that they could update themselves. WordPress proved to be an ideal solution. I created some design ideas which were approved and then a template was heavily edited to create a site that is easy to navigate for the user, and also easy to manage by Baia.
A video created to promote a brand new night in a brand new venue in Huddersfield. Ya Dun Know is a night of the freshest urban music based in The Zetland Bar. It was a great night and I had a great time shooting the video and editing to a great track by Tony Phorse, one of the resident DJs.
I created this Halloween video for Revolutions Huddersfield. All the bar staff got really into it. A little LED panel on the top of the camera really helped out. It was a video to promote the team in the bar and it came out well, with Revolution being happy with the outcome.
I was approached by SEB Consultancy with the brief of coming up with a full branding package, from logo design right through to website. We worked closely together, with me feeding back at each stage of the process. The logo represents the various strands of manufacturing, coming together.

I was asked to create a short film to show how the HIV virus effects the immune system upon entering the human body. Due to the sensitivity of the piece I had to create a character that was neutral, and explain some rather tricky science in a way that could be easily understood by its viewers. The animation is now being used in an educational pack produced by Terrence Higgins Trust throughout the country.
I used Autodesk Maya to create the animation, with After Effects used for post production.
Benaiah asked me to pop along to ROKT Climbing Centre in Brighouse, Huddersfield where he decorated one of the climbing silo entrances in his own unique style. I will be working with Benaiah again soon on an up-coming project for the Media Centre.

After seeing some of my previous video work The Media Centre asked me to come along to an informal networking event that they host on a regular basis. The brief was to capture the informal and friendly atmosphere of the event. Shot using my 5D mkii with a variety of fixed lenses to get some nice aperture based shots, with some colour correction in post. The video was a hit with the attendees of the event.

After seeing work produced for The Media Centre, I was contacted by Hillrich to document their Business Conference event in Bradford. A busy conference with hundreds of delegates, the conference was full of local businesses promoting themselves. I used two cameras on this shoot to make sure I could capture as mucho f the event as possible. The video got some great feedback and I am now covering their future events.
Wordpress was the ideal choice when I was asked to create a website to promote a local music tutor, with the content of the site easily manageable by the client. After creating a logo based on a provided sketch I created some designs and then heavily edited a template to achieve a design that the client was happy with.

Kirklees Youth Services asked me to run a six week animation workshop with a number of their users. The course covered all aspects of animation, from character design and story development, to story boarding, set building and finally animating. The group created two very different animations and gained an AQA award qualification for completing the course. This group took inspiration from the popular lego animations found on YouTube.
Alden Small Business Solutions asked me to come up with a logo and business card that represented what they do – provide solutions to the problems that small businesses face. The design process was fun, joining a strong image with a solid font. The colour was to be strong yet warm.
The logo works inverted too, with a version that is suitable for any white background.
Wayra specialise in creating incubation units for entrepreneurs who have the next big idea, with competitions running all over the world. After working on the London Wayra week as a freelance editor, I was invited to edit on the Berlin competiition. Profiles for each contestant had to be edited and uploaded throughout the week, with a final edit created for the final award ceremony. This is the edit that can be seen here.
This short promotional animation was made to loop on monitors and a screen throughout the night club on the opening night on this Huddersfield based event. It was also projected on the side of a shopping centre to promote the event to passers by.
After Effects and 3D layers were used to create a fluid piece that could loop seamlessly.
I was approached by Jack Flash, a local rapper, with the opportunity to create a music video for his up-coming album, Progression. I had complete free reign over the project, from concept to edit. We got local students from the University of Huddersfield involved and they provided some great roles.
An urban dance competition based in Huddersfield, The Fresh Factory has flourished in the last few years, getting bigger and bigger to the point where they wanted a website to showcase their event.
Designed from scratch and built in HTML, this site is clean, attractive and easy to navigate, exactly what the client had asked for.
This redesign of Alan’s original site brought the page up to date. I also included a promotional video – a simple ‘talking head’ video testimonial from one of his ex pupils. The site is bright and bold, getting across all the information the client had requested.

The brief was easy-to-use and to the point, a site where customers could find contact details but also some further information on the garage. Matthew has contacted me numerous times to let me know that he has received new clients through traffic on his website. Inital designs were then turned into a clean all-browser-friendly HTML site.
FYI is a pocket sized guide to all that is good in food, drink and shopping in Huddersfield. I was asked to come along to the launch night and capture the excitement of the event in a short, punchy promotional video. It was a rainy afternoon. What should we do? Create a ridiculous promotional video for a fictional company! What began as a silly concept soon snowballed into buying pigs kidneys from a local butchers. The rest as they say, is history. Was a great way to get used to some new equipment I had recently purchased.

I Am lucky enough to have a desk BASE studio in Fairfield Mills, Huddersfield. The studio hosts some great talent and it is a great place to work. We have worked on numerous projects together and we pool skills regularly.
